Women's Soccer Heads to the JU Tournament

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's soccer team (0-3) continues its six game road swing to open the season with the JU Tournament in Jacksonville, Fla. The Eagles will face North Florida (1-2) Friday at 5 p.m. and Jacksonville (0-3) on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Ospreys are off to a 1-2 start with a 4-0 win over Coastal Carolina. North Florida saw goals scored from four different players in their first win of the season. North Florida sports the reigning A-Sun Player of the Week, Katelin Swift. The Eagles last faced the Ospreys in 2006, dropping a close 1-0 decision.
The Dolphins have dropped three straight matches to open the season but are hosting their first home matches this weekend. They will face Furman in their first match Friday and then will face the Eagles for the first time since 2006 on Sunday.
Women's Soccer will play one more road match against Georgia State (sep 13) before the home opener against Mercer (Sep 18).
