Women's Soccer Continues Conference Play at Furman

The Lady Eagles are now 3-3-2 (1-0-0) after knocking off Wofford 2-1 on Friday night.
Toussaint leads the Lady Eagles in goals scored (6), points (15) and shots on goal (21).

Georgia Southern and Furman have faced off a total of 21 times. Georgia Southern dominated the series early, winning eight out of the first 10 matches and had two four-game winning streaks; however, Furman took control in 1998 and has not looked back. The Eagles have not beaten Furman since October 15th, 1997 when
Furman enters the match with a 6-3-1 (0-1-0) record after losing at home to Davidson 3-2 in their conference opener on Thursday.
The Paladins are 3-1-1 at home this season, but the Lady Eagles are 2-1-1 on the road.
Furman's last victory of the season came on the road at USC Upstate in a 1-0 overtime victory.
Martha Hall leads the Paladins in goals scored with four.
Sara El-Shami has started all 10 matches and has dished out a team leading five assists this season.
Jessica Smith and Briana da Mota have evenly shared the goalkeeping duties with five starts each. Smith has a 0.73 goals against average.
