Walk-On Information for Golf Program

STATESBORO, Ga. ? The Georgia Southern University golf program has announced walk-on information for those interested joining the program. An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, at 6 p.m. inside Hanner Fieldhouse. Students must attend the meeting if they are interested in trying out.

Those interested must have proof of a physical (copy) from a physician within six months prior to the date of the tryout. The Georgia Southern health services can be used to get a physical.

Students must also have proof on health insurance, be a full-time student, meet NCAA eligibility standards and must agree and comply with the Georgia Southern drug testing policy. Students should bring a copy of their class schedule as well as the attached questionnaire form.

The cost is $100, which includes five rounds of golf at Southern Links Golf Club and one dozen Pro V1 practice balls.
