Women's Soccer is set to Face The Citadel and College of Charleston this Weekend

Statesboro, Ga. - The Women’s Soccer Team is preparing for another weekend of Southern Conference play and will be playing The Citadel on Friday at 4 pm and College of Charleston on Sunday at 2 pm.
The Lady Eagles are 4-5-2 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.
Georgia Southern split last weekend’s action defeating Chattanooga 3-2 on Friday and losing 1-0 to Samford Sunday.
The Lady Eagles rank fourth in points, goals and assists in the conference statistics.
Ashley Toussaint (Warner Robbins, Ga.) ranks first in points and goals scored in the individual conference statistics, and Danae Kaimuloa (Escondido, Calif.) ranks fourth in points and fifth in goals scored.
The Citadel Bulldogs are 2-8-1 overall and 0-4-0 in conference play after losing 5-0 to UNC Greensboro and 2-0 to Elon last weekend.
Georgia Southern and The Citadel have both faced Gardner-Webb and Charleston Southern. The Lady Eagles defeated Gardner-Webb 2-0 and lost 2-1 to Charleston Southern while the Bulldogs lost to Gardner-Webb 2-0 and Charleston Southern 4-0.
The Citadel ranks seventh in points, goals scored and assists in the conference.
The Bulldogs rank 11th in goals allowed, 12th in goals against average and second in saves.
Amy Loughran leads the Bulldogs offensive attack and has scored four goals on the season.
Georgia Southern is 7-0-0 all-time against The Citadel and defeated the Bulldogs 6-0 last season.
College of Charleston is 8-3-2 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play. The Cougars tied Elon 1-1 and lost 1-0 to UNC Greensboro last weekend.
College of Charleston also faced Charleston Southern and tied them 2-2.
Megan Manthey leads the Cougars attack and ranks first in shots, second in points and goals and third in assists in the conference statistics.
The College of Charleston defense has allowed the second fewest number of goals in the conference.
Georgia Southern will travel to Charleston, S.C. to face The Citadel on Friday at 4pm and then return to Statesboro to take on the College of Charleston on Sunday at 2 pm at Eagle Field.
