Jayson Foster named Sea Island Bank Player of the Week

Congratulations to Jayson Foster for being named the Sea Island Bank Player of the Week. Foster completed 10 of 22 passes against Furman for 190 yards, including a personal best three passing touchdowns. He also rushed for 82 yards, and in doing so set a Division I AA record for single season rushing yards by a quarterback. Foster currently stands at 1,649 rushing yards with at least one game remaining in the season. With his 2007 season passing total now at 1,096, Foster also becomes the first Eagle quarterback to notch over 1,000 yards in both passing and rushing since Greg Hill in 1999.
