Full Slate of Events Planned for 912 Spring Game Weekend

Spring Game to kick at 11:30 am on April 4
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics announced a full weekend of events April 2-5, highlighted by the annual Blue vs. White Spring Football Game, presented by Morris Bank, Southern Exchange and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, along with a variety of family-friendly activities across campus. Fans are encouraged to stay in the 912 and make the most of a packed weekend supporting Eagle programs—featuring 9 can't-miss events, $1 popcorn at the spring football game, and 2,000 eggs for the Little Eagles Egg Hunt.
The weekend begins Thursday evening as Georgia Southern softball hosts the ULM Warhawks at 6 p.m. for Strikeout Cancer Night, featuring a GS Pink Visor giveaway. The series continues Friday at 5 p.m. with Field Day Friday, bringing playground-style games, on-field activations and family fun from start to finish. The weekend concludes Saturday at 12 p.m. with Eggstra Innings, delivering springtime spirit with egg hunts, themed contests and holiday-inspired fun. Meanwhile, Georgia Southern women's tennis opens its weekend slate Friday at 10 a.m. against the Appalachian State Mountaineers before returning to the courts for Senior Day and Alumni Day on Saturday at 10 a.m. to face the Marshall Thundering Herd.
Saturday's schedule continues with a full morning of activities leading into the Blue vs. White Spring Football Game. Fans can welcome Georgia Southern Football during the Eagle Walk at 10 a.m. before young fans take part in the Little Eagles Egg Hunt at 10:15 a.m. inside the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility. At 11 a.m., fans are invited to stick around the Tippins Facility for a Cheerleader Showcase featuring Georgia Southern cheerleading as they prepare for their national competition.
Gates for the spring football game will open at 10:30 a.m., with fans invited to arrive early and enjoy The Hangout, which will feature lawn games, inflatables, spring-themed craft activities, and a video game trailer for fans of all ages. Fans are also encouraged to keep an eye out for a limited number of golden eggs hidden throughout Paulson Stadium, each containing special prizes, including football tickets, an autographed football, sideline passes and other exclusive experiences.
Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m., as the Eagles close out spring practice with an intrasquad matchup. Opportunities for autographs with the team will occur in August during the Fan Fest.

Later Saturday evening, fans can head to the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center for the Eagle Football Alumni Association $10,000 Reverse Raffle. Don't miss your chance to win $10,000 while supporting Eagle Football. Happy hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the raffle at 7 p.m. Each ticket includes one (1) entry into the $10,000 raffle as well as admission for two (2) to an evening of food, fun and football. All events surrounding the spring football game, including pregame activities and The Hangout, are free and open to the public, providing a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the weekend in Statesboro while getting a first look at the Eagles. The EFAA $10,000 Reverse Raffle is a ticketed event. Fans are encouraged to make it a full weekend and experience the best of the 912 by supporting multiple programs across campus.
