Riley Ludlam

Riley Ludlam joins Georgia Southern as the Eagles’ assistant softball coach, overseeing the program’s hitters after quickly establishing herself as one of the rising young coaches in collegiate softball.
A native of Fort Myers, Florida, Ludlam arrives in Statesboro following a successful 2026 season as an assistant coach at Dodge City Community College. In her first season with the Conquistadors, she helped guide the program to a historic 46-19 record, the most wins in school history. Dodge City captured Region 6 and Plains District championships, earned a berth in the NJCAA Division I World Series, and set multiple team records, including hits, runs scored, RBI, doubles, triples, home runs, stolen bases and slugging percentage.
Prior to Dodge City, Ludlam served as a student coach at the University of Oklahoma during the 2025 season, helping the Sooners compile a 52-9 record while winning Southeastern Conference regular-season and tournament championships.
Ludlam’s coaching experience followed an accomplished collegiate playing career. She spent the 2024 season at Oklahoma, helping the Sooners capture the program’s eighth national championship while batting .318 with 21 hits, 23 runs scored and 20 RBI in 49 appearances. Before transferring to Oklahoma, she starred at Furman University, earning 2023 Southern Conference Player of the Year honors, NFCA All-South Region Third Team recognition and back-to-back All-Southern Conference First Team selections in 2022 and 2023.
During her standout senior season at Furman, Ludlam hit .372 with 10 home runs, 15 doubles and 41 RBI while posting a .676 slugging percentage. Over four seasons with the Paladins, she developed into one of the Southern Conference’s top offensive performers, excelling both behind the plate and in the infield.
Ludlam brings championship experience as both a player and coach, having been part of conference championship, national championship and World Series teams throughout her collegiate career.
