Mia Kness enters her third season as an assistant coach on the women's golf staff in the 2025-26 season.

The Eagles tied for second place at the NCAA Lexington Regional to advance to the national championship after finishing second at the Sun Belt Conference tournament. She guided Georgia Southern to six tournament championships and three individual titles. In her first year as an assistant coach, Kness helped lead the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and mentored Louise Reau to a NCAA Regional bid. Georgia Southern finished the 2023-24 season with two team wins, five top-5 finishes, and nine top-10 finishes. The team set the program record in season scoring average with a 292.02 average.
