Ines Fonte begins her first season as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern women's tennis for the Fall of 2025.
Fonte joins the Eagles from Syracuse University, where she played for four years from 2020-24 for the Orange. She compiled a career overall 78-56 record in combined singles and doubles over her four seasons, including a career-best 13-6 singles record during the Spring season of her junior year.
A multiple member of the Syracuse University Athletic Director's Honor Roll, Fonte graduated from Syracuse with her bachelor's degree in psychology and the Maia, Portugal, native will be pursuing her master's degree in professional communication and leadership from Georgia Southern.
