Biography

Junior (2012-13): Named to SoCon All-Academic Team and SoCon Academic Honor Roll • One of three Eagles to play in all 31 games • Averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10.8 minutes a game • Started her first career game at Chattanooga (1/12); scored five points in 15 minutes • Posted eight points, one rebound and one assist in a win over Kent State • Netted nine points by knocking down 3-of-4 3-pointers in a home win over Wofford (1/20) • Hit two 3-pointers and collected seven points and three rebounds vs. College of Charleston (2/9) • Scored six points against Stetson, Davidson (2/2) and UNCG (3/2).
 
Sophomore (2011-12): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in 27 games and averaged 10 minutes an outing • Saw double-digit minutes in the last seven games of the season • Averaged 2.7 points a game • Scored a season high 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting at Chattanooga (2/13) • Scored eight points and added two rebounds against Southern Wesleyan • Scored eight points in consecutive games at College of Charleston (1/18) and Western Carolina (1/21) • Had seven points and a pair of steals at Wofford (1/30) • Posted five points and two assists against Stetson (12/8) • Had five points and two assists vs. Elon (2/18) • Made all four of her free-throw attempts.
 
Freshman (2010-11): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in 26 of the team's 30 games • Averaged 6.8 minutes and 1.9 points per contest • Shot 35 percent from the field and 38-percent from behind the three-point line • Also made 4-of-5 free throw attempts • Played 10 or more minutes in four of the final five contests including 20 minutes at Appalachian State (2/21) • Tallied a season-best 22 minutes of action at Samford (1/31) • Made her collegiate debut at Georgia (11/14) • Scored 10 points in 18 minutes at Chattanooga (12/4) • Went 2-for-4 from behind the arc in the 77-69 overtime win over the Mocs • Scored nine points on a season-high three treys at Davidson (2/19).
 
Prep: Led Northwest Whitfield to a Region 7 regular-season championship in 2010 and AAAA State Runner-up position • Named AAAA all-state honorable mention • Was North Georgia All-Area First Team selection by Chattanooga Times and Dalton Daily Citizen • Helped lead Lady Bruins to a 2009 Deep South Classic Tournament Championship • Named to all-tournament team following championship • Team captain in 2009-10 • Was 45 percent three-point shooter and 86 percent free-throw shooter in senior season to lead team • Lettered in basketball and cross country.
 
Personal: Born June 20, 1992, in Dalton, Ga. • Jordi Cook is the daughter of Chris and Fran Cook • Lists her mom as having been a major influence on her athletic career because "she's always pushed me to be the best I can be" • Admires Michael Jordan for his dedication, passion and love for the game • Cousin, Stacy Childers, played women's basketball at Georgia Southern from 1993-1995.
