Michelle McLeod

Michelle McLeod begins her second season with Georgia Southern women's basketball in 2023-24. She served as the director of basketball operations in 2022-23, but was elevated to the womens' basketball chief of staff for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Prior to joining the Eagles, Michelle spent the last four seasons as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations on the North Carolina Central men's basketball coaching staff, where she managed the program’s budget by coordinating team travel, scheduling practice facilities, and supervising student managers.

In her four seasons, Michelle assisted in leading North Carolina Central to two Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference championships in route to the NCAA Tournament. In 2020, Michelle was named to the inaugural class of John McLendon Minority Leaders, a national initiative created to assist rising minorities in the sports industry. A native of Anson County, North Carolina, Michelle graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in coaching education in 2017. While at North Carolina Central, Michelle received her Master’s in Athletic Administration as a Summa Cum Laude graduate.

Michelle is a member of the WBCA and Women Leaders in College Sports organization.
