Junior (2012-13): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in the first six games before an injury forced her out of action • Posted four points and five rebounds in 10 minutes of action at Appalachian State (12/3) • Collected four rebounds and an assist in 12 minutes at Davidson (12/1) • Tallied three rebounds in the season opener against Florida Atlantic.
 
Sophomore (2011-12): Named Academic All-SoCon • Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in 23 games and started the first three • Averaged 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.1 minutes a game • Scored six points and made all three field goal attempts vs. Jacksonville State (11/26) • Posted six points and three rebounds in six minutes vs. Southern Wesleyan (12/30) • Shot 36.7 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the free-throw line.
 
Freshman (2010-11): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in seven games • Totaling 15 minutes and one field goal attempt • Recorded four rebounds; one on the offensive glass and three on defense • Also tallied an assist on the year • Made her collegiate-career debut at Georgia (11/14) • Played a season-high seven minutes, tallied an assist and an offensive rebound at Davidson (2/19) • Recorded a rebound in four different contests.
 
Prep: A two-year letterwinner at Martin County High School in Stuart, Fla., and two-year letterwinner at Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach, Fla. • While at Martin County, led her team to their first District Championship during her junior year but sat out most of her senior season due to injury • In 2009-10, she was named to the Nike Junior Nationals Midwest All-Star Team, Treasure Coast All-Area Honorable Mention and Un-Sung Hero of her high school team • Named Scholar Athlete/Rookie of the Year in 2007 as a freshman at Jensen Beach High School and played alongside her sister, Brett, as they won the Class 4A FHSAA State Championship • Helped lead Jensen Beach to Class 4A FHSAA District Championship in 2008, advancing to the regional semifinal • Graduated in the top-10 of her senior class and was named an AP Scholar with Distinction.
 
Personal: Born Dec. 10,1991, in Winfield, Ill. • Brittney Leigh Benzio is the daughter of Edward and Barbara Benzio • Has three siblings Brooke, Brian and Brett • Most admires her sister, Brett, "because she taught me so much and always pushed me to be a better player" • Brett was a four-year letter winner at Tulane University • Lists the Pittsburgh Steelers as her favorite professional team.
