Danny Strohm comes to Statesboro after serving as the Interim Director of Strength & Conditioning Coach at Southeast Missouri State University, primarily working with the Redhawk basketball, baseball and volleyball programs.
While at SEMO, Strohm helped guide the Redhawks to their first NCAA men’s basketball appearance in 20 years and 2nd time in school history. Strohm also was a part of the Redhawk baseball program that upset and knocked out nationally ranked powerhouse Arkansas from Regional play.
Prior to SEMO, Strohm spent a year at Northern Iowa serving as the Director of Basketball Performance. He also has had stops at Kansas State, Saint Louis and SIUE as well as having spent time in the private sector as ProForce in Cincinnati. In Strohm’s time, he has assisted in the development of 12 athletes who have gone on to play professionally.
Strohm graduated from Webster University where played collegiate baseball and was selected as the Rawlings Gold Glove winner at 2nd base while helping lead the Gorloks to the College World Series.
Strohm is from St. Louis, Missouri. He is a certified specialist and holds numerous certifications including his CSCS, USAW, FMS, PRI, PES. He received his bachelor's degree from Webster University and masters degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
Strohm resides in Statesboro with his wife, Morgan and dog, Gibson. He has one brother, Ryan, who serves as the Director of Player Development for the men’s basketball program at SEMO. Strohm’s dad, Joe, works for the St. Louis Cardinals as the Vice President of Ticket Sales.
