Brooke Hopkins joined the Georgia Southern Athletics Department in March 2024 as an Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Services. She works with women’s volleyball and track and field/cross country.
Hopkins is from Wilmington, North Carolina and was raised in Northern Virginia. She came to Georgia Southern to play on the women’s volleyball team (2016-2019) and received a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development. She continued to pursue her Masters in Counselor Education with a concentration in School Counseling at Georgia Southern University (2020-2022).
While completing her master’s she served as a graduate assistant in the Admissions Office and was an intern at Metter Elementary and Middle School, working with grades K-8. After graduating she got hired as a freshman processor in the Admissions Office (2022-2024).
In her free time, she loves going on walks with her husband and daughter, Hazel, watching reality tv shows, and reading.
