Macy Norton serves as the director of operations for the Georgia Southern rifle program, a role she has held since the 2019-20 season. She is responsible for the match-day setup of the Shooting Sports Education Center and several other duties.
As Director of Operations, Norton assists with administrative work that propels the team toward success. This work consists of detail-oriented tasks that allow the bigger picture to function smoothly. As Director of Operations, she tackles any obstacle that comes her way, and is constantly searching for creative solutions in order to achieve the best possible outcome. Every day is a new adventure with new accomplishments for the coach and the athletes.
A native of Statesboro, she is a graduate of Statesboro High and is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Georgia Southern.
