2021-22: Played in seven games, starting five … Played 326 total snaps (284 on offense, 42 on special teams) … Had four catches for 40 yards … Got the start in the opener against Gardner-Webb, making a 9-yard catch … Had an 11-yard catch at Florida Atlantic … Played 50 total snaps at Arkansas and 54 against Louisiana … Was on the field for 43 total plays against Arkansas State … Played 13 total snaps at Troy … Had a 20-yard catch at South Alabama … Was limited late in the season with an injury. 

2020-21: Played in 12 games, starting 10 … Saw action on 463 total snaps (445 on offense, 18 on special teams) … Caught four passes for 40 yards on the season … Missed the opener against Campbell … Returned to play 47 offensive snaps at Louisiana … Caught a 9-yard pass in that game … Played 46 offensive snaps at ULM … Had a 13-yard catch against UMass … Was on the field for 56 offensive snaps against Coastal Carolina … Played 39 total snaps against South Alabama … Played 47 total snaps against Troy … Had a 6-yard catch against Texas State … Played 22 total snaps at Army West Point and 29 at Georgia State … Was on the field for 31 snaps against Florida Atlantic … Had a 12-yard catch against App State … Got the start against Louisiana Tech in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl … Made the Honor Roll in the fall. 

2019-20: Played in three games but was still able to redshirt … Saw action on 32 offensive snaps … Saw his first collegiate action against Coastal Carolina, playing four snaps on offense … Played 20 offensive snaps against New Mexico State … Played eight offensive snaps against Georgia State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Etowah High for Coach Drew Noles … Had 27 catches for 430 yards and six touchdowns as a senior … Named to the Class 5A, All-Region 6 football team … Ranked as the No. 272 wide receiver in the country and the No. 78 player in the state of Alabama by 247Sports … Named to the 2017 AHSAA All-State Team … Hauled in 28 passes for 419 yards and eight scores as a junior … Named to the All-Messenger Football Team … Also played basketball, helping lead his team to two regional titles.

PERSONAL: Born Cyrus Emil Smith on November 28 in Anniston, AL … Son of Sheretta Bostick and Cyrus Smith … Dad played running back at Alabama State.
