Mike Adams is in his second season with the Georgia Southern football program, his first as a graduate assistant. Adams spent the 2016 season assisting with special teams and recruiting.
Originally from Storm Lake, Iowa, Adams attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He played four years at defensive end on the football team and spent the 2015 season as student assistant working with the defensive line.
In May of 2017, Adams earned of Master's of Science from Georgia Southern.
Adams and his wife, Deni, live in Pembroke, Georgia. Deni is a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and is stationed at Fort Stewart.
