Dillon Springer returned to Georgia Southern in 2024 as a graduate assistant after spending the 2023 season at Georgia Military College. Prior to his time at GMC, Springer worked for the GS Athletic Foundation as the Assistant Director for the Annual Fund. Before joining the Athletic Foundation, Springer was a part of the Georgia Southern football team, finishing his final season in 2022.
As a student-athlete, Springer was heavily involved with community outreach as well as mentoring the youth. Springer was a part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was elected team captain for the Eagles in 2020 through his final season. Springer has become well known in the community and has created many relationships among Eagle Nation during his athletic career.
As a 2021 graduate of Georgia Southern University, Springer earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with a psychology minor. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, then later moved to Midland, Texas, where he attended high school. Springer is married to his high school sweetheart, Ariene Boyce (Springer) who attended the University of North Texas and received her bachelor’s degree in 2021.
