Adam Brooks

Adam Brooks joined the staff at Georgia Southern in 2015 following five seasons at Army.

At Georgia Southern, Brooks runs the equipment room at the Ted Smith Family Football Center and is the direct supervisor for the team’s staff of student managers. Brooks’ staff distributes and fits equipment and apparel as well as handles field set up for daily practices.

In his five seasons at Army, Brooks handled the day-to-day equipment needs for Army’s football team, which included the fitting and distribution of equipment, inventory and issue apparel to players, coaches, and all other staff members, along with laundering practice and game uniforms.

Brooks attended Marshall University where he graduated with a bachelor’s in Business Management and began his graduate studies in Sports Administration. While there, he was a student manager for Marshall’s football program. His primary responsibilities while a student included the set up and breakdown of all practices and games, maintenance of all equipment and apparel, as well as the distribution of equipment. While attending Marshall, Brooks was promoted to Graduate Assistant during his senior year and went on to hold that position for two years.

Brooks has also had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer equipment manager for the 2011, 2012, and 2013 East-West Shrine Games. Brooks is also a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Manager’s Association (AEMA).

Brooks is a native of Parkersburg, West Virginia. He now resides in Statesboro with his wife, Jade, and their children, Hudson and Elin.
