2020-21 - Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll

2022-23: Played in 12 games … Was on the field for 88 total snaps (14 defense, 77 special teams) … Had three tackles for the season … Played five snaps on defense in the opener against Morgan State … Played on special teams in the win at Nebraska and at UAB … Saw limited action on special teams against Ball State and against Coastal Carolina … Played 13 total snaps at Georgia State and eight in the win over No. 25 James Madison … Saw action on special teams in the win at Old Dominion and against South Alabama … Played 11 total snaps at Louisiana … Had a tackle against Marshall … Was on the field for eight snaps in the overtime win over App State. 

2021-22: Played in 11 games … Played 182 total snaps (177 on defense, five on special teams) … Had five tackles and a fumble recovery on the season … Played 14 defensive snaps in the opener against Gardner-Webb … Had two tackles at Florida Atlantic … Posted one tackle at Arkansas … Played 11 snaps against Louisiana … Had a tackle against Arkansas State … Played nine snaps on defense at Troy and 14 total snaps at South Alabama … Played four snaps against Georgia State … Had a tackle and a fumble recovery against Coastal Carolina … Was in for 12 total snaps in the win at Texas State … Played 10 snaps against BYU.

2019-20: An early enrollee at Georgia Southern … Went through spring practice with the Eagles … Made the Honor Roll in the spring. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Battery Creek High for Coach Walter Wilson … Named a North-South All Star … An honorable mention all-state selection by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association as a senior … A three-time all-region, three-time all-area and three-time defensive MVP selection … Had 48 tackles, including 14 tackles for loss and nine sacks, two fumble recoveries and a touchdown as a senior … Also played basketball, earning all-region honors … Ran track where he was named all-region and All-Lowerstate twice.

PERSONAL: Born Walter Brandon Wilson on February 27 in Columbia, SC … Son of Walter and Helena Wilson … Has a younger brother, Will.
