STATESBORO, Ga. — Georgia Southern won 3-0 over Radford on Saturday, taking the match 25-22, 27-25, 25-20. The Eagles hit .446 with 60 kills, while holding Radford to a .233 hitting percentage and 41 kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- After Radford scored the opening point, the Eagles won three straight with a Reagan Barth kill, a block by Anna Powell and Kayla Knowles, and a Powell kill to move ahead 3-1.
- Radford later went in front 5-4, but the Eagles answered through the middle of the set as kills from Knowles, Beka Pfefferkorn, Powell and Barth helped build an 18-12 lead.
- Radford scored four straight points to pull within 18-16, then the Eagles pushed back to set point at 24-19 behind kills from Knowles and Alex Myers.
- Radford trimmed the margin to 24-22 before Myers finished the set with a kill from Bella Ekeler for a 25-22 Eagles win.

Second Set
- A Macie Potter ace moved Radford ahead 3-1 early, but the Eagles answered behind kills from Pfefferkorn and Alex Myers and moved in front 5-4 on back-to-back Radford attack errors.
- The set stayed tight through the middle stages, with the Eagles getting kills from Pfefferkorn, Anna Powell and Reagan Barth as the score moved through repeated ties, including 13-13, 15-15, 17-17 and 20-20.
- Radford pushed ahead 22-20, but Pfefferkorn answered with a kill and Anna Powell's block helped bring the Eagles back even at 22-22.
- After Radford reached set point at 24-23 and again led 25-24, Alex Myers tied it with a kill, Barth put the Eagles ahead, and a Radford attack error closed the 27-25 set win.

Third Set
- The early edge belonged to Radford, which moved ahead 8-5 and later took a 14-12 lead.
- The Eagles answered with eight straight points, tying the set on a Pfefferkorn kill and moving ahead 20-14 behind kills from Pfefferkorn, Reagan Barth and Anna Powell, plus a Barth ace.
- Radford cut the margin to 23-20, but Barth and Gabby Babinski delivered consecutive kills from Lexi Duffy to finish the set 25-20.

Pfefferkorn led the Eagles with 14 kills while hitting .565 and added one block assist. Reagan Barth finished with 13 kills, eight digs, one ace and one block assist. Ekeler tallied 31 assists and added four digs. Kayla Knowles recorded five total blocks, including two solo blocks, and added three kills.

Match Notes:
- Team - Totaled 57 assists in the match, exceeding their season average of 40.5.
- Alex Myers - Recorded a hitting percentage of at least .615 in two consecutive matches.
- Team - Achieved a season-high of 60 kills in the match.

Chad Willis pointed to the Eagles' offensive balance after the win, saying, "Really good offensive performance tonight, averaging 20 kills a set, played pretty clean, you know, hit above 350 in every set we play. I thought our setters Lexi and Bella both did a really nice job of just distribution, keeping everything balanced, getting everybody involved. Would have liked to see us PTK a little bit better on the defensive side of the ball, but credit to Radford. I thought they did a really good job, especially from the left side. But another quality win. Just got to keep building off that momentum going in tomorrow."
