Southern Posts 4,741 to Wrap Up Regular Season

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The sixth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle team wrapped up its regular season Saturday at the Inouye Marksmanship Center, taking on #8 Navy and both of The Citadel squads. The Eagles posted a 4,741, their third highest score of the season.
In smallbore, Emme Walrath led the way with a 590 to place fourth and was followed closely by Emma Pohlmann (589; 5th), Bremen Butler (587; 6th), Tori Watts (587; 7th), Zahra Gonzalez Mazo (586; 8th) and Hailey Singleton (586; 9th).
In air rifle, Walrath led the way with a 598 to place fourth. Butler finished fifth with a 597 and Pohlmann took sixth with a 597. Watts placed sixth with a 596 and Singleton finished ninth with a 592.
Walrath led the way with a 1,188 to place fourth. She was followed by Pohlmann (1,186; 5th), Butler (1,184; 6th), Watts (1,183; 7th) and Singleton (career-high 1,178; 8th).
