Breaks Devine Parker's school record set last week
BOONE, N.C.– NaJ Watson smashed the school and App State Facility record in the 200m, highlighting the Eagles' eight performers in the final tune-up before NCAA Regionals.
Watson's time of 22.69 blew away Devine Parker's record of 23.07 in the event set last weekend at the SBC Championships, and broke Kendall Johnson's facility record of 23.57 set earlier this year.
With this, Watson now owns the outdoor school records in the 100m and 200m and is part of both the 4x100m and 4x400m record-holding teams.
Alexandria Kennedy equaled her season best in the triple jump with a leap of 12.07m, Emani George had a season best of 24.46 in the 200m and 11.55 in the 100m to round out the Eagles' performers.
The Eagles will send some to NCAA Regionals in Jacksonville from May 29-31.
