STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football program has announced the hiring of
Brayden Curry and
Riley Galpin to the Eagle staff in supporting roles in the recruiting side of the program. Curry will serve as the Director of Player Personnel for the offense and Galpin will serve as the Director of Recruiting Operations.
Curry comes to Statesboro after working at UAB since June of 2023. At UAB, Curry was the Player Personnel Coordinator for the defense, as well as the pro liaison. He oversaw all aspects of recruiting and database management for defensive staff for high school and transfer portal recruiting. He also created weekly advance scouting reports on opponent's personnel and coordinated coaches' recruiting travel during contact periods. Curry also assisted on-campus recruiting department with all unofficial and official visits and coordinated and executed all pro personnel visits.
Prior to his time in Birmingham, he worked as a student recruiting assistant at Ole Miss from 2020 through his graduation in 2023. He earned a degree in business administration from Ole Miss in 2023.

Galpin comes to Statesboro after one season at Kansas State as the program's Assistant Director of On-Campus Recruiting. In that role, Galpin assisted with all official and unofficial visits to Manhattan, collaborating with various departments within K-State Athletics, the K-State campus and the community. In addition, she also assisted in the on-boarding process and transition to K-State for all incoming high school freshmen and transfers.
Galpin spent the previous two seasons as the Director of On-Campus Recruiting and an Operations Assistant at the University of West Georgia where she directed and supervised all planning of official and unofficial visits to campus. She also helped plan and execute football camps, prospect days and junior days, while she helped transitioned incoming players both athletically and academically.
Galpin earned her undergraduate degree in mass communications from the University of West Georgia in 2021, while she obtained her master's degree in sports management from West Georgia in 2023.
