Although the Ospreys did not dive at the meet, Georgia Southern still had their chance to do so. Luckily for them, history was made on the diving board this afternoon. In the three-meter, Wells had the top score among her teammates at 284.85. Additionally the rest of the divers in
Abby Ounsworth,
McKinlee Taulbee, and
Ava Mallon all set season highs on the event. In the one-meter, Wells had a phenomenal performance, setting both the school and pool record with her score of 314.40. This score beat the previous record of 302.15, set by Sara Rogers in 2018, by just over a whopping 12 points. As of now, the junior has both the one and three-meter diving records in school history.
