GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Freshman
Elijah Zamarron and junior
Ian Glanton both shot 212 over three rounds to finish tied for 11th place at 4 under as four Eagles competed as individuals at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate at Chattahoochee Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.
Glanton (71-70-71) shot all three rounds under par, while Zamarron (74-69-69) posted back-to-back 3-under 69s to lead the way for the quartet.
Edouard Cereto had a strong tournament with a 72-71-73 to finish even par and place in a tie for 33rd.
Pierce Adamson shot a career-low 69 in the second round to highlight his tournament.
Zamarron led the way with 12 birdies for the tournament with Glanton right behind him with 11. Glanton had 34 pars to lead the way and he and Zamarron both had an eagle for an Eagle to lead the way.
For Glanton, his 212 and -4 for the tournament are both collegiate lows and his T11 finish is his highest collegiate finish.
