STATESBORO - Athlon Sports has released its 2024 Preseason All-Sun Belt Team as 11 different Georgia Southern players were named to the squad.
Four Eagles were named to the first team, including Justin Rhodes (DL), Isaac Walker (DL) and Marques Watson-Trent (LB) on defense, and Jalen White (RB) on offense.
Derwin Burgess Jr. (WR) and TJ Smith (DB) were named to the second team and Dalen Cobb (WR) and Pichon Wimbley (OL) were named to the third team. Chandler Strong (OL), Tyrell Davis (DB) and DeAndre Buchannon (KR) were named to the fourth team.
