Sophomore earns pair of conference honors
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern sophomore student-athlete Emma Pohlmann has once again been honored as the SoCon Smallbore and Air Rifle Athlete of the Month for her performances in February, as announced Friday by the conference.
Pohlmann averaged a team-best 587.000 smallbore average in the month of February and a team-best 594.667 air rifle average in the month of February.
The Nentershausen, Germany, native earned the same two honors in November and January. She was named the SoCon Athlete of the Year in both smallbore and air rilfe and won both individual titles. Pohlmann was named a first-team All-American in air rifle, as well as a second-team All-American in both smallbore and combined.
