STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head football coach
Clay Helton officially announced the addition of 19 new student-athletes to the program who enrolled in school in January and have been working out with the program. Fourteen of those newcomers are transfers and five are early high school graduates.
Of the 14 transfers, nine are from NCAA Division I programs, coming from programs such as Oklahoma, Auburn, Washington State, North Carolina and Indiana. Seven play offense, six play defense and one is a specialist. Here is the list of all 14 transfers, in alphabetical order:
