New Experiences, Enhancements Await Eagle Nation at Paulson This Fall
STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics remains committed to delivering a first-class experience for Eagle Nation. After listening to fan feedback and working throughout the offseason, several additions and enhancements are coming to Allen E. Paulson Stadium/Evans Family Field in 2026.
Here's what fans can expect this fall:
2026 Fan Guide
• Everything you need for game day in one place, including parking, traffic flow, shuttle routes, stadium policies and more.

Bud Light Party Patio presented by RTG
• A brand-new, free-to-enter pregame destination adjacent to the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility.
• Opens five (5) hours before kickoff with a covered 40x40 tent, dedicated restrooms, large LED screen showing college football and a fully branded Bud Light bar.
• Frank Sulkowski and Jeff Roberts will host the Cutwater Pregame Show live from the Bud Light Stage with analysis and special guests.
New Eagle Walk Route
• Eagle Walk has a slightly new path into Paulson this season.
• The Eagles will cross Glenn Bryant Way and continue through Parrish-Scoggins Plaza, passing the statues of Erk Russell and Freedom before entering through Gate 10.
• The new route creates a fitting final stretch through an area celebrating the history and tradition of Georgia Southern Football.
The Hangout at Paulson
• The Hangout is back as a game-day destination for fans of all ages, opening when gates open and remaining available inside Paulson Stadium.
• Returning favorites include face painting, balloon artist, cornhole and lawn games, kids activities, and ax-throwing.
• Food & drinks: Azul returns to The Hangout with fresh Mexican food, joined by a dedicated beverage cart offering cold beverages throughout game day.
• New for 2026, The Hangout will feature an inflatable along with additional picnic tables and Adirondack chairs, giving fans even more ways to play, relax and enjoy game day.
Celebrating Erk 100
• The 2026 season celebrates what would have been legendary head coach Erk Russell's 100th birthday.
• Oct. 31 vs. App State will serve as the official Erk 100 game.
• Fans will see Erk 100 feather flags, concourse signage and the official Erk 100 logo painted behind each end zone throughout the season.
• Be on the lookout for limited-edition Erk 100 cigars from the Bocock Brothers, another time-honored tribute to the legendary coach.
• Commemorative Erk 100 gear is available from The Southern Exchange Company, Barnes & Noble at Georgia Southern, Onward Reserve, and No Rivals.
• Fans can also grab the limited-edition Erk 100 popcorn bucket at Paulson.
Eagle Legends Come to Parrish-Scoggins Plaza
• New busts honoring College Football Hall of Famers Tracy Ham, Adrian Peterson and Paul Johnson are coming to Parrish-Scoggins Plaza – Read the full story.
• They'll join the existing Erk Russell and Freedom statues to further celebrate the history of Georgia Southern Football.
• The monuments will be officially unveiled Oct. 31 prior to the App State game.

• A brand-new Struttin' GUS and Coca-Cola-branded sign is coming to Paulson Stadium this season, giving Eagle Nation a new spot to snap the perfect game-day photo. You can find the sign next to the My First Game Experience. After kickoff the sign will move inside Paulson in front of Bishop Field House for further photo opportunities.

• Vallant Bank, formerly Morris Bank, returns as the presenting sponsor of Georgia Southern Football.

Atlantic Waste Services Joins Eagle Nation
• Georgia Southern welcomes Atlantic Waste Services (AWS) as the new Official Waste Management Partner of the Eagles through a multi-year partnership.
• Fans will see AWS prominently represented at Paulson Stadium with new sideline apron logos and the newly named Atlantic Waste Services Club on the stadium's club level.
• A locally owned company serving Statesboro and communities throughout Southeast Georgia, AWS will also have a presence across Georgia Southern Athletics venues and broadcasts throughout the year.

• The White Out is back! For the third consecutive season, Eagle Nation will be called on to wear white and pack Paulson for one of the most anticipated game days of the year.

Celebrate the 2026 Hall of Fame Class
• Georgia Southern will celebrate its 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Class throughout the Sept. 25-26 weekend, culminating with Hall of Fame Day on Sept. 26 when the Eagles host Houston at Paulson Stadium.
• The 2026 class features Matt Breida, The Dirty Dozen, Scott Henley, Frank Hook, Roger Inman, Marlo Mincey-Vinson, Sarah Purvis Bryant and Brent Russell.
• Eagle Nation is invited to help celebrate the class at the Hall of Fame induction banquet on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center. Tickets are available to the public.

Celebrate the 2026 Hall of Fame Class
• Georgia Southern will celebrate its 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Class throughout the Sept. 25-26 weekend, culminating with Hall of Fame Day on Sept. 26 when the Eagles host Houston at Paulson Stadium.
• The 2026 class features Matt Breida, The Dirty Dozen, Scott Henley, Frank Hook, Roger Inman, Marlo Mincey-Vinson, Sarah Purvis Bryant and Brent Russell.
• Eagle Nation is invited to help celebrate the class at the Hall of Fame induction banquet on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center. Tickets are available to the public.
