STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football program has announced its January enrollees which include 16 transfers. GSEagles.com had a chance to sit down with each of the transfers for a quick Q&A so all of Eagle Nation can get to know their new Eagles. Up first is Chance Gamble, from Kennesaw State.

What attracted you to Georgia Southern when you were making a decision to transfer?
When I decided to transfer, I came down here on a visit and it felt like family; it felt like the place to be. It's closer to home, so it's a good fit for me.
What do you like to do when you're away from football?
I like to golf. I like to hunt. I've been doing a lot of deer hunting this past year.
What's your pregame ritual?
You've got to have the music. I've got to eat some type of candy, like Skittles or gummy worms.
What do you prefer - a book, a movie or a video game?
Movie - Friday Night Lights
What's the last show you binge-watched?
Ozark
If you weren't a football player, what sport would you go to college to play?
Baseball
After football is over, what are your current career aspirations?
I plan to coach, and my dad coaches, so I'll follow in his footsteps. I want to start off at the college level then work my way back down to high school eventually.
What's something most people don't know about you?
I can rap.
Finally, what aspect of gameday in Paulson Stadium are you looking forward to experiencing on Aug. 31 against Boise State?
I'm ready to experience all the fans. I've heard from everybody so far that it gets crazy here on Saturdays, so I'm ready to experience that.
