Georgia Southern Athletic Marketing Announces 2024 Softball Promotional Schedule

All home events will have a theme to enjoy

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern athletic marketing team announced the 2024 softball promotion schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 31. All home games at Beautiful Eagle Field will feature an enjoyable theme for fans of all ages.

Feb. 9 is opening day at Beautiful Eagle Field, where the Eagles host the Bash in the Boro tournament. The athletic marketing team will be distributing the free 2024 team poster. Be sure to arrive early as we're kicking this season off and let's get those vibes high and play ball!

Kids Weekend is set for the Georgia State series March 22-24. Cartoon night will be held Friday, Girl Scouts Day Saturday, and Sunday is Youth Softball Day. Postgame autograph sessions will be held both Friday and Saturday after the game.

The Coastal Carolina Series Mar. 28-30 will be a very busy weekend, as it is Family Fun Weekend and oh, would you look at that? It's five o'clock somewhere. Time to put on a Hawaiian shirt, eat a cheeseburger, and watch some good ol' Eagle softball at Margaritaville in Statesboro on Friday, Mar. 29. A Georgia Southern Hawaiian-themed giveaway item will be distributed on Friday. In addition, on Saturday look out for plastic eggs on Hopping Around Eagle Park Day.

Strikeout Cancer Weekend is scheduled for Apr. 19-21 against Sun Belt foe Troy. To kick off the weekend join the team at its Mojo Dojo Casa House for some delicious barbecue. Saturday night we're painting the park pink! Come down to Eagle field, grab a t-shirt, and help us kick off this great weekend!
