PREVIEW: Eagles Set To Open Spring Season In Kentucky

STATESBORO - The sixth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle squad returns to action this weekend as it heads to Kentucky for a pair of road matchups to open the spring season. The Eagles take on #10 Murray State on Saturday in and then take on #18 UT-Martin Sunday. Both matches will take place in the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range on Murray State's campus.

Both matches will begin at 10 a.m. (ET).

Georgia Southern is 8-1 this season and currently sits at #6 in the country with its 4,724 three-score (different locations) average, just .67 points behind #5 Ole Miss. The top eight teams after NCAA Qualifier weekend will compete in the NCAA Championships in March.

Murray State is ranked 10th with a 4,710.67 three-score average while UTM is #18 with a 4,641.33 average.
