STATESBORO - All 32 NFL squads have opened preseason camp, meaning that everyone is now officially beginning preparations for the upcoming 2023 season. They are training for the long road that culminates in Las Vegas, on Feb. 11, 2024 for Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium.
Georgia Southern will once again have a strong presence in the League as eight former Eagle players are in camp. Here's a list of all eight, where their training camp is going on, as well as their preseason schedule.

Briefly:Â Baker Jr. was called up the Colts' active roster late in the year and played in three games. He recovered a muffed punt late in the season and will look to make the squad through special teams once again.

Briefly: Vildor is in Year Four with the Bears and looks for significant playing time once again. He was in and out of the starting lineup last year, but missed the last few weeks due to injury.
Clubs are allowed to carry a 90-man roster to begin camp. Rosters must be cut down to 53Â players prior to 4 p.m., New York time, on Aug. 29. Simultaneously with the cut-down to 53, clubs that have players in the categories of Active/Physically Unable to Perform or Active/Non-Football Injury or Illness must select one of the following options: place player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non-Football Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List. Teams may continue to make moves after the initial roster of 53 is determined.
