Quotable from Coach David Neville
"Today's meet was a pretty good warm-up for us as we get ready and start moving towards the conference championship in two weeks. The ladies are coming off a pretty heavy training cycle, which normally does not result in great performances, but we had a number of good marks with today's competition. I'm very proud of the progress that Sam has made in the hammer throw as she tossed it over 50m for the first time. We had a number of victories in multiple events, and I feel like our athletes are just now getting to a place where they're starting to really understand how to compete week in and week out. Now, we will start to rest and back off in our training as we prepare for the conference championships, hosted by Coastal Carolina."
