Georgia Southern Adds Two More Non-Conference Games To Future Football Slate

Sam Houston, Charleston Southern contracts signed

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Jared Benko announced Wednesday the addition of Sam Houston and Charleston Southern to the Eagles' future non-conference football slate. The Eagles will host SHSU on Sept. 8, 2029, and CSU a week later, on Sept. 15, 2029, both at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.

Georgia Southern will head to Texas to take on the Bearkats on Sept. 21, 2030 to conclude the home-and-home deal with Sam Houston.

The Eagles have never played Sam Houston nor Charleston Southern..

This contracted games complete the non-conference schedules for both 2029 and 2030, which now look like this.
