STATESBORO - Behind a school-record team effort in air rifle, the 18th-ranked Georgia Southern rifle team rolled past Wofford Saturday morning at the Shooting Sports Education Center. The Eagles posted a 4,601 as a team to pick up their ninth dual win of the season.

In smallbore, the Eagles took the top six spots, led by Erin Ballard's 575. Amy Visconti was second with a 573, followed by Bella Gamez (558, third), Ashley Judson (556, fourth) and Kinsley Hannon and Lillian Herring (553, T-fifth).

In air rifle, three Eagles posted a perfect 100 to lead the Eagles to a school-record 2,339 team score. Judson led the way with a 589, followed by Hannon, who shot a career-high 586 (with her first 100 score), Ballard (584, third), Visconti (580, fourth), Gabby Morrow (567, fifth) and Anna Mayo (555, seventh).

The Eagles posted a 4,601 team aggregate and downed the Terriers by 303 points. Ballard took first place for the first time in her career with a 1,159, followed by Visconti (career-high 1,153, second), Judson (1,145, third) and Hannon (1,139, fourth).
