Burrow Honored by Southern Conference

Senior named smallbore and air rifle athlete of the month

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern senior rifle student-athlete Addy Burrow has been named the Southern Conference smallbore and air rifle athlete of the month for her performance in November, as announced Tuesday by the conference. She earned both awards for her scores in October.

Burrow (Williamson, Ga.) averaged 586.5 in the month of November, posting 588 and a 585. The 588 is the second-highest score in program history while the 585 is tied for the fifth best. For the year, she is averaging a SoCon-best 586.143.

She averaged 597.5 in the month of November, posting 598 and a 5897 The 598 is tied for the second-highest score in program history while the 597 is tied for the fifth best. For the year, she is averaging a SoCon-best 595.571.

The Eagles, ranked 15th in the country, will be back in action in January, opening the semester in Alaska in a pair of matches against Alaska, West Virginia and Kentucky.
