STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern cross country team returns to action at the Asics Invitational Saturday with the 5K race slated to begin at 9 a.m. at Chattahoochee Hills in Fairburn, Georgia.
The Eagles last competed Sept. 17 in a 6K at the Florida State Open at Apalachee Regional Park, the site of the 2021 NCAA Cross Country Championships. It was the first collegiate 6K for all six Eagle competitors and featured three top-20 nationally-ranked teams.
Following Saturday's race, the Eagles have a week off before hosting the GATA XC Classic Oct. 15, at the Bulloch County Disc Golf Course in Statesboro.
