Eagle Football and Southeast Ford Dealers To Honor Teachers

Georgia Southern football kicks off this weekend
STATESBORO - This football season, Georgia Southern University and your Local Ford Dealers are partnering to celebrate teachers for their commitment to our future leaders through the "Ford Teacher of the Game" campaign. During each home game, a teacher will be recognized on-field as the Ford Teacher of the Game and their classroom will receive bookbags and school supplies courtesy of your Local Ford Dealers.
Georgia Southern is offering discounted tickets for all teachers and school employees for the Teacher Appreciation Game on Sept. 25 vs Louisiana. 2021 –2022 teachers of the year in schools within Georgia Southern College of Education's service area who are alumni of the University (or Armstrong State University) will automatically be entered to win the one of the six home game recognitions including four complimentary tickets for the teacher and 100 backpacks courtesy of Ford for the school.
Winning teachers will be drawn at random each week and notified prior to the game.
"It is important to recognize the dedication and hard work that teachers give every day in the classroom to educating our youth," said Tim Redding of Metter Ford, who represents the Southeast Ford Dealers Advertising Fund. "We want our teachers to feel appreciated and enjoy an Eagle football game with their family."
The Teacher Appreciation Football game will be held in conjunction with the Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 25 when the Eagles take on Louisiana. Discounted tickets will be available to all teachers and school employees by visiting the Teacher Appreciation discount page.
