TAMPA, Fla. – Camryn Mathis finished third in the meet in the 100-meter dash, and
Zykeria Williams took fourth in the 100-meter hurdles to lead the Georgia Southern track and field team at the USF Invitational Saturday.
Williams' time of 13.94 in the 100-meter hurdles was the fourth-fastest in school history, and the sophomore finished eighth at the meet in the long jump with a new personal best of 5.71 meters (18'9).Â
Mathis' time of 11.79 in the 100-meter dash was slightly wind aided or would have been the seventh fastest in school history.
Meagan Lynch finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.47.
Martina Takang took seventh in the discus with a throw of 39.77 meters (130'6), and
Siddeeqa Abdur-Rahman finished eighth in the hammer throw with a personal best of 44.91 meters (147'4).
