The Eagles’ first team event is the Gator Invitational, scheduled for Feb. 12-14.
STATESBORO – Jacob Bayer shot a 73, tied for the second-lowest score of the day, to finish seventh at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate Monday at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course.
Bayer finished 8-over for the tournament, one shot back of sixth place and two ahead of eighth. Dawson Peters of USCB was the only player to shoot under par for the tournament and won the event, and Connor Nolan of Chattanooga was even-par for the week to take second.
Monday's third round was cold and windy, and the average score was 78.03 with just the first hole playing under par.
Keyed by a first-round 74, Avery Price tied for 14th, and Luke Dasher shot a 72 Sunday afternoon, the fourth-lowest score of the second round, on his way to tying for 20th. Lucas Hopkins tied for 26th.
