
Ashley Judson Named SoCon Rifle Shooter of the Month

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Ashley Judson has been named the Southern Conference Rifle Shooter of the Month for both smallbore and air rifle, the league announced today.
Judson posted three first-place finishes in smallbore and three more in air rifle. In smallbore, the junior shot the highest score in the conference during the month of October and set a career high with a 578 against UAB. She averaged 572.833 in the month with five 570-plus scores and averaged a 1,162.333 aggregate for the month.
In air rifle, Judson shot the highest score of the month in the conference by three points and set a career high with a 593 against Morehead State. She averaged 589.500 in the month with three 590-plus scores and averaged a 1,162.333 aggregate for the month.
She was named the SoCon Air Rifle Shooter of the Month for both November and January of last season.
Judson and the Eagle rifle team are back in action Nov. 13 at No. 15 Jacksonville State.
