STATESBORO – Andrei Savrasov collected a career-high 18 points and eight rebounds, and Georgia Southern set a new school record by shooting 72 percent from the field to post a 103-51 men's basketball win over Bob Jones University Tuesday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.
Eagles of the Game
Savrasov was one of five Eagles to score in double figures, and every Eagle who stepped on the floor scored. Prince Toyambi and Tre Cobbs each netted 12 points, while Carlos Curry and Kamari Brown each scored 10. Elijah McCadden led the Eagles with five of the team's 21 assists, Kaden Archie totaled a team-high three steals and Curry led the Eagles with four blocked shots.

Leading 13-12, the Eagles (3-0) used a 20-3 run to take control of the contest. Six different Eagles scored during the stretch, and Savrasov's jumper made the margin 35-17 with 6:51 left in the period. Georgia Southern capped the half with an 18-5 spurt and took a 53-23 cushion into the locker room as the Eagles held the Bruins to 4 of 19 from the floor in the final 14 minutes of the frame.
