Biography
Fifth Year (2022-23): Played in 31 games and made 25 starts • Averaged 9.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.6 steals • Scored in double figures in 17 games and led the Eagles in scoring five times • Led the team in rebounding once and in assists twice • Scored a season high 19 points at Santa Clara (11/10) • Posted a season-high seven rebounds at Coastal Carolina (12/31) and had a season-best six assists vs. Appalachian State (2/24).
Senior (2021-22): Averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and a steal a game in 23 contests • Shot 43 percent from the field • Scored in double figures five times and led the Eagles in scoring once • Led the team in assists three times • Started 11 contest • Tallied a season-high 17 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Sun Belt Tournament vs. Appalachian State (3/5) • Made a season-high three triples vs. the Mountaineers • Posted a season-high six rebounds to go along with 12 points at Arkansas State (1/1) • Totaled a season-high four assists in three games and a season-high three steals twice • Missed six games with an injury.
Junior (2020-21): Played in 13 games, making six starts, and averaged 7.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game • Reached double figures in four contests, including the first three games of the season • Led the Eagles in scoring in three games and in assists three times • Scored a season-high 23, including the game-winning bucket with 0.1 on the clock, at USC Upstate (12/5) • Made 9 of 14 from the field against the Spartans, matched his season high with five rebounds and posted a season-high three steals • Went 7 of 10 from the floor and scored 17 points to go along with three rebounds and a season-high three blocked shots at South Alabama (1/22).
Before Georgia Southern: Played in 25 games, making seven starts at UTEP • Averaged 15.9 minutes per game and tallied 89 points (3.6 ppg) with 42 rebounds (1.7 rpg), 18 assists, eight blocked shots and 12 steals • Played in 10 games at TCU in 2018-19 before transferring to UTEP and was eligible to play for the Miners in December of 2019 • Rated a four-star player by 247Sports and Rivals coming out of Midlothian High School • Ranked as the No. 3 player in the state, No. 19 small forward in the nation and No. 84 player in the nation by 247Sports and recognized as an ESPN Top-100 prospect • Averaged 18.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game as a senior • Led Midlothian to a 28-11 record and to the semifinals of the 5A state tournament, the high school’s first-ever state tournament appearance • Named to the Conference 5A All-Tournament team following the 2018 UIL Boys Basketball State Tournament • Named the Max Preps Semper Fidelis Player of the Year • Also selected to the All-Region II team and All-District 10-5A as a junior.
