Halloween Activities Planned for Saturday’s Football Game

Eagles set to host Panthers on Halloween Eve

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Athletics is planning several activities during this festive time of year at Saturday's football game against Georgia State that is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Be sure to line up in the tailgate lot early for the Eagle Walk at 3:45 p.m. as the football student-athletes will have special treats for kids and fans as they march to Allen E. Paulson Stadium. In addition, we encourage all fans to Trick-or-Treat throughout the tailgate with your fellow members of Eagle Nation. If you participate, please place a pumpkin at your tailgate spot. Further, be sure to show us your best pumpkin carving skills on that pumpkin for your tailgate spot. The best designs will be selected and win complimentary tickets to the men's and women's basketball home openers.

The festivities don't stop in the tailgate lot. As you enter Paulson Stadium, kids can continue to Trick-or-Treat on the concourses. Plus, stop by the My First Game booth (PDF) presented by IDC on the concourse near section G to enter into our costume contest. The winners of the contest will be recognized later in the game.

Fans may take advantage of savings by purchasing the Blue & White Plan for the next two home football games. The two-game mini-plan gives you a ticket to Georgia State and Coastal Carolina at Paulson Stadium. Pricing starts at $45 and premium seating is available!
