STATESBORO - Athlon Sports has released its 2020 Preseason All-Sun Belt Team, headlined by two Eagles earning first-team honors. In total, 11 different GS players were named to the squad, including one player who was honored at three different positions. Defensive end
Raymond Johnson III and safety
Kenderick Duncan Jr. were all first-team defensive selections.
Wesley Kennedy III was named a second-team all-purpose player on offense and was also named a third-teamer at both punt returner and kickoff returner. Senior linebacker
Rashad Byrd was named to the publication's second team on defense.

2020-21 Eagle Fund memberships must be paid in full by Tuesday, June 30. Don't forget, season tickets, parking, and/or donor benefits will not be distributed until all balances are paid in full. For those that had put down a COVID-19 deposit to retain your seats due to financial reasons, please give the ticket office a call to either pay in full or set up a plan: payments must be made in full by Aug. 15 in order to receive your season tickets.
Eagle Seats are back again this year at Paulson Stadium. Fans may rent these chairbacks for the season or by the game. Season ticket holders, if you have not already done so when you renewed, be sure to lease your seats online at GSEagles.com/EagleSeats by July 1 before the price increases. As a reminder, starting this season, no seat backs will be allowed to be brought into Paulson Stadium.
As a reminder, away game tickets for the 2020 season are on sale now. The priority deadline for 2020-21 Eagle Fund Donors and/or 2020 Football Season Ticket Holders is Wednesday, July 1. Tickets ordered by the July 1 deadline will be allocated based on priority points. Tickets ordered after the July 1 priority deadline will be allocated in the order they are received. Away game tickets ordered by non-Eagle Fund Donors and/or 2020 Football season ticket holders will be allocated after priority orders are completed. No tickets will be allocated until after July 1. Updates will be communicated to all purchasers of away game tickets on opponent's stadium rules. In the event that an away game is canceled due to COVID-19, refund options will be available to all purchasers of that game.
