Words From Coach Worman:
"The guiding star of our program is gratitude. And today is a day to make a list of the things for which we are thankful. I'm thankful for Lilly Herring's quick reflexes and ability to make hard decisions at a critical moment. She was in a car accident that wasn't her fault, but her evasive maneuvers let the car and the airbags do their jobs and protect her. She did not compete today, but she will be healed and back for Southern Conference. I am grateful for the three athletes who shot here today, and the hard work Gabby Morrow, Ash Judson and Amelia Pierce put in at the range and in the classroom. All four young women are each evolving, growing and Worthy. I'm thankful for a university and a program that supports us on our journey to be our best selves, on and off the range. I am grateful for one of the strongest recruiting classes we've had, and the opportunity to host a roster of 10 come August. As the saying goes, 'We start by starting.' And this year, we started building the foundation of a multi-year climb to March and our Southern Conference championships and the NCAA championships."
