TROY, Ala. – Isaiah Crawley registered his sixth career double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Georgia Southern shot 54 percent from the field to post an 82-66 Sun Belt men's basketball win over Troy Thursday night in Trojan Arena.

Crawley made 10 of 14 from the field and 4 of 5 from the foul line, and
Quan Jackson scored 19.
Calvin Wishart finished with 14 points and four assists, while
Ike Smith tallied 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Georgia Southern (12-7, 6-2) trailed 12-6 early but used a 23-7 run to build a 29-19 cushion midway through the frame. Wishart made three of his four 3-pointers during the stretch, while Crawley netted five points and
Elijah McCadden nailed a triple.
Jackson scored five, and Crawley netted four in an 11-2 run that helped the Eagles take control of the contest midway through the second half. GS made four field goals in a row during the run, and Crawley's tip-in gave the Eagles a 70-52 cushion with 8:05 to go. GS held Troy (7-12, 3-5) to 1 for 7 from the floor and forced two turnovers during the run.
Key stats
The Eagles had one of their most complete shooting games of the season and made 30 of 56 from the field, 8 of 20 from long distance and 14 of 16 from the charity stripe.
