Eagles have first day off from camp
STATESBORO – After five days of practice, the Georgia Southern football team had its first day off from practice on Wednesday, using the day to recover, but also as a mental day filled with meet and relaxation.
Earlier this week, GSEagles.com caught up with defensive line coach/recruiting coordinator/professional wrestler/40 Under 40 honoree/general all-around fun guy Victor Cabral to get his thoughts on his defensive line early in camp.

In the afternoon, head coach Chad Lunsford visited a few sororities to fire them up during rush week. GATA Lifestyle was there and should have some always entertaining content coming out of those visits.
Practice will continue on Thursday with an 8:30 a.m. session at Allen E. Paulson Stadium as the team gears up for Saturday's first scrimmage.
